Tired now

18:18 Jul 30 2014
Times Read: 549

Got up this morning and kids were asking for ham and cheese omelets before I even got my meds took! So fixed them breakfast and me some toast, took my meds, ate and started a load of laundry then fixed a big pot of spaghetti sauce before cutting up and frying some cube steak and country steak fries for lunch. Got first load into dryer while second washes. Have washed up the kitchen dishes twice now and found pork tenderloin in the fridge that I have to fix for supper. Thank goodness the spaghetti sauce will keep and be better tomorrow night.

Then Adam's case worker called wanted to stop by for a visit so rushing around picking up the toys and stuff until I'm ready to drop.

So I'm taking a short break before finishing my laundry and wish I dared take a nap but once I sleep I'm gone for the day. lol

A vampire sure wouldn't wait to be staked!

13:51 Jul 25 2014
Times Read: 570

I've been watching the news channels here in the US and the reporting on all the stations is the most slanted I've heard in years and it's so obvious, that only an idiot cannot help but notice. I'm talking about the war in Israel and Gaza.

Since when has any country not had the right to defend it's people and borders? You sure as hell cannot tell the US we don't have the right! But the reporting coming out of Gaza, is all about how Israel is nothing but a murdering bully targeting only schools and hospitals and civilian targets to kill kids and innocents.

What a pile of bullshit! The newest, a UN built school where civilians were taking shelter, shown on all the news channels with bleeding and dead kids and torn schoolbooks.

Of course they were not allowed to be there or film until the military goods were all moved out, but they are well known for hiding their mobile rocket launchers in areas near schools and hospitals, but since they do not value human life, in my opinion, they sure don't care who dies as long as it's not the leaders or military members.

Then they stand back and yell how mean Israel is for targeting kids, and our press not on buys into it but sucks it down like good booze, and spread it about as often as they can. The truth no longer matters it's ratings that count.

Let's get this straight I am not a christian, a Jew nor do I believe that the Jewish people are God's chosen, I believe any of us that believe in God and peace and life are his chosen people.

But as a freedom loving American, I for one am sick of this pile of crap being shoveled at us trying to make us all think that Hamas are just good folks trying to survive. They are terrorists and that will never change.

I can put this in terms that Vampires would understand... Do you plan to stand still and let your enemy stake you in the heart or will you fight back and try and make them stop?

DIY Gods

22:41 Jul 23 2014
Times Read: 589

I really wish those DIY Gods would find me sometime and come knock out some walls and make my kitchen a big usable one.

As a kid my Mom kept fussing at my Dad about having too small a kitchen for a big family and our home had a 2 carport and as he was a carpenter by trade (a general contractor by today's standards)

so he built the carport in and opened up the existing kitchen into it so it was huge with wrap around cabinets and countertops as well as one end with a huge eating table that we could all gather around sitting playing games or just drinking coffee/pops and talking over life in general. At this point I really miss those days and just wish my own kitchen allowed for just such times. I think I might need to hang out more in home improvement stores to find them though. lol

Missing Mom

17:16 Jul 07 2014
Times Read: 615

Today was my Mom's birthday, 7-7-30 she would have been 84 this year if she'd have lived even close as long as most of the females in her family. Mid to upper 90's is normal for them but Mom just couldn't put down the smokes.

Funny enough that's the only problem I have with legalizing pot, smoking it is even worse than tobacco on your lungs and body. :(

I still hear her call my name sometimes especially at night and many times I want to ask her advice only to remember I cannot. We'd have probably disagreed anyway but it'd have been fun.
